Your data, your choices.
Scope
The service is operated by Senskin SARL, 55 BD MOHAMED V, IMM JAKAR, APPT N° 33, Gueliz, 40000 Marrakech, Maroc. This policy covers senskin.net, communications with Senskin and the features available in your app version. Data enquiries: contact@senskin.net. Dr Sadak Maria is a dermatologist and scientific advisor for content; this role is distinct from the operator’s role.
Senskin on iPhone
The questionnaire to understand your skin, journal, routines, optional cycle tracking and memos work without an account. The journal is encrypted on the iPhone. Manual backups and restoration are described below; there is no automatic journal synchronisation. The questionnaire helps tailor guidance and is not a diagnosis.
Daily journal, pill reminders and PDF reports
The symptoms, mood, energy, sleep and skin observations you choose to record stay in the encrypted local journal. Pill reminders and the doses you record are optional. Senskin schedules these notifications for 14 days and renews them when opened; it displays the scheduled end date. Display depends on iOS permissions and settings. The PDF report is created on your iPhone for the dates and sections you choose; personal notes and pill history are included only if selected. No export is sent automatically. Trends are descriptive; symptoms do not change period predictions in Senskin.
Weather, reminders and sharing
Optional weather information uses OpenWeather with the location needed for the request; it does not require sending your journal. Senskin reminders are local and depend on iOS permissions and settings. Sharing or exporting creates a copy with the recipient or service you choose. Check its contents before sending. The shortcut widget does not display your health history.
iPhone Calendar · optional
Cycle estimate syncing is off by default. If enabled, iOS requests full calendar access so Senskin can create, update and remove its events in a dedicated calendar stored locally on this iPhone. Senskin limits reading and changes to events marked as belonging to this installation in that calendar. Senskin does not export estimates to iCloud, Google or Exchange. If no local calendar is available, this option remains inactive; cycle tracking and reminders within Senskin remain available. Dates, titles and optional alerts leave the encrypted journal and become visible in Calendar. Discreet titles do not hide dates. You can stop at any time and keep or remove Senskin events. Uninstalling Senskin does not remove these copies. If iOS permission is revoked, Senskin cannot remove copies until access is restored. Dates are estimates, not a contraceptive method.
Weather and your town
Manual search sends the town or region name you enter to Apple Maps and OpenWeather, which also receive your IP address. After selection, OpenWeather uses the location’s coordinates to provide available measurements. Optional automatic location, subject to iOS permission, uses an approximate position to identify the locality through Apple; exact GPS is not sent to OpenWeather. No journal content is included. The latest measurement is kept on the device to limit requests and refreshed while the app is open when it is at least one hour old. You can forget the location and disable weather.
Partner offers and optional statistics
Three placements may display an offer clearly labelled as advertising: Today, Routine and the memo overview, with one ad per screen. No frame appears without a campaign. Offers can be disabled. Choose a country from a list or, independently of weather and with your agreement, let Apple derive it from approximate foreground location. The country stays on your device and campaigns are selected locally. Skin, cycle, pregnancy, symptoms and journal entries never determine ads. No advertising identifier or ad-network SDK is used. Catalogues and images come from Senskin. If you enable measurement, off by default, the app sends the campaign, placement, country, language, visible impression or click and a temporary identifier for that impression. Senskin retains aggregate counters for 400 days, exportable by administrators, without individual profiles. Technical receipts expire after ten minutes or one hour depending on their role and are purged by WordPress scheduled tasks. An anti-abuse network fingerprint expires after two minutes. The host technically receives IP addresses and may keep separate technical logs. Frequency limits are kept locally. Withdraw consent in Understand → Partner offers; already aggregated contributions cannot be individually isolated. An explicit report sends the campaign, placement, country, language and reason to Senskin even with measurement disabled. Partner links open an external site governed by its own rules. Launch notification
The form collects your email address, selected phone type, language and confirmation of consent to announce Senskin’s availability. Consent is not preselected. An email lets you confirm your request. Unconfirmed requests expire after 7 days; confirmed subscriptions expire within 12 months of confirmation. Withdraw consent through the unsubscribe link or contact@senskin.net; this does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. We do not ask for assessments or health information. Data is stored in the WordPress hosting provided by Genious and is available to authorised administrators. The site’s mail service delivers messages. Confirmation and unsubscribe links are private. A temporary network-address fingerprint limits abuse for one hour and is not used to track you.
The older app and existing accounts
The older app uses an account and remote services. Depending on enabled features, Google/Firebase, OneSignal and OpenWeather may be involved. Signing in through Apple, Google or Facebook involves that provider. Not all providers receive all your data. An old account’s information is not automatically imported into Senskin’s local journal. Detailed data flows, processing countries, transfer safeguards and retention periods for the older service still need to be documented.
Browsing, cookies and external links
The new public website does not load advertising or advertising tracking tools. Demo choices stay on the page and are not transmitted. Hosting may keep technical logs for operation and security. Older WordPress sections, forms and signed-in areas use their own components, including Google and Cloudflare; their tracker inventory remains to be completed. Optional trackers requiring consent must remain inactive until that choice. Instagram and medical source links lead to separate services. Browser settings also let you manage cookies.
Your rights and deletion
You may request access, correction or deletion and, where applicable, portability, restricted processing or object to processing. Write to contact@senskin.net without initially attaching identity documents or medical records. Proportionate verification may be needed. You may complain to the relevant authority, including Morocco’s CNDP or your country’s data protection authority. Deleting a local journal, uninstalling the app and deleting an older server account are different actions. Exported copies are not automatically removed. Legal exceptions and retention of older service backups still need to be specified.
Future features and minors
Senskin is not intended for children under 13; that threshold does not mean minors can consent alone to every use in every country. International age and consent flows will be specified before launch.
Security and outstanding information
Protect your phone and private links. No system guarantees absolute security. Detailed legal grounds for older processing, backup retention and applicable registrations still need to be completed. This page is not a compliance certification. Questions: contact@senskin.net.
Optional assistant
Guided mode runs on your iPhone. AI assistance is for adults and stays off until you accept it in assistant settings. With your consent, Senskin sends your question and up to four previous messages to OpenAI for moderation and selection of reviewed advice or a next step. Voyage AI receives only your current question to retrieve relevant advice. Messages may reveal health information. Your name, birth date, phone number, location and journal are not automatically included. An optional skin profile filters advice on the Senskin server. Avoid entering identifiers or information about other people.
AI providers and retention
Requests use HTTPS through Senskin’s Genious hosting. OpenAI does not train on API data by default; security logs may be retained for up to 30 days, subject to provider exceptions. Responses requests use store=false. Voyage is configured as Opted Out, which provides no retention or training for these API calls. See OpenAI and Voyage AI. Exclusively Moroccan or European hosting is not guaranteed for these international providers. Senskin does not store chat text in its server database; the conversation remains in the local journal. The search index contains only reviewed-advice vectors. Anti-burst network fingerprints expire after 48 hours and are purged daily. The host may retain technical logs. Disabling AI stops future transmissions; deleting the local chat does not erase providers’ existing logs.
Questions and appointment requests
Sending a request to Dr Sadak and her team requires a separate confirmation. Only the name, phone number, message and availability entered in the form are sent; your journal and full conversation are not attached. Requests are encrypted on Senskin’s server and accessible to authorized staff, without automatic emails containing the message. They expire after 90 days and can be deleted from My requests. The team may contact you to arrange a visit; submitting does not confirm a booking or guarantee a response time. This is not an emergency service.
Journal backup and restoration
You can export an encrypted backup protected by a password of at least 12 characters to Files, choosing iCloud Drive or another location. The file includes your profile, questionnaire, history and saved settings, as well as access to your requests to the medical team. Protect this file and keep its password separately: Senskin cannot recover it. Your chosen storage provider receives the encrypted file under its own terms. Backups are manual, without automatic synchronisation between devices. After checking and confirmation, restoration replaces the iPhone journal; back it up first if you wish to keep it. AI assistance must be re-enabled after restoration.
Pico and website demonstrations
This website’s Pico guide responds locally to a few navigation commands and offers jokes. It does not consult AI or request health information. Entered text and avatar choices are not transmitted or retained after a new page loads. During the browsing session, the browser only remembers your choice to hide Pico and whether the greeting has already been shown. No website conversation log is created.
